This has been confirmed today the sports vice president, Josep Maria Bartholomew, who has said that is not expected that tomorrow the club's president, Sandro Rosell, travel to London to meet with the coach of Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, as had been published.
"Until 31 August (deadline transfer market), all negotiations are open," said Bartholomew, who has said that the strategy of Barça is based primarily on rebuilding the bridges of friendship with Arsenal.
"Relationships exist, but we want to be good. We must talk about what has gone wrong and respect what the other is thinking," said the vice president, who has insisted that the signing of Cesc Fabregas is a request of the team technical.
Bartholomew would not comment on whether it is ethical to feel hurt, as managers have expressed different Arsenal after the London club to sign Cesc Fabregas when he had fifteen years and in the midst of a change in the presidency of Barcelona.
"I can not say, I'm not on your skin. These are cases that pass, times when things happen. They feel what they feel and we have an obligation to have good relations with everybody," he said.
Asked if the price of the transaction could be around forty million euros, Bartholomew commented that there is a price set in the operation. "We are not a negotiation, but to restore relationships," he clarified.
In any case, the financial vice president has admitted that the club has the budget to address this hypothetical operation and the subsequent integration of a defensive midfielder. "We budget and we have availability, depending on your technical team," he said.
