2-1. Villarreal Osasuna comeback into the Europa League
Osasuna finished the year 2011 in Europe League places to win at Villarreal coming back from an adverse marker, after the goal by Argentine Marco Ruben in the 64th minute, with many of Senegal Ibrahima Balde and Sergio Fernandez in the fourth quarter of an hour.
The meeting was opened and either team could win. Villarreal, still without a win out, stroked to victory ahead with a goal by Marco Ruben, but Osasuna on a roll soared exultant faith to leave the Christmas break.
