The Australian team is preparing with some absences due to injury his first game on South African soil. The Aussie team has been reduced during the preparatory phase without some of its fixed theoretically could work out with the rest of peers due to physical problems. The last to recover and join the group has been Brett Emerton.

Blackburn Rovers midfielder returned to training after several weeks of being touched by a calf injury. So far in the practices of Melbourne and Johannesburg, Emerton participated separately but is now reportedly recovered.
