Javier Clemente is the new coach of Cameroon
Javier Clemente (the blond Barakaldo), who recently went to clubs such as Murcia and Valladolid, and the selection of Serbia between 2006 and 2007, has been confirmed by the Cameroonian Football Federation as their new coach on a contract between him during the next two years.
The Spanish arrive to replace the Frenchman Paul de Guen was sacked after falling in the first round of the World Cup in South Africa.
His assistant coach will be former Cameroon striker Francois Oman-Biyik, who participated in three World Cups and was twice champion of the African Cup of Nations (1984 and 1988). We also have a trainer you trust, and will coach the former Deportivo goalkeeper Jacques Songo'o.
In addition to his experience with Serbia, Clemente has in his resume he sent to the Spanish national team between 1992 and 1998.
